At Defy Tumbling Academy, every class is designed to help athletes build strength, confidence, and skill—no matter their level.
Our classes are intentionally small, high-energy, and focused on consistent progress. Whether your athlete is mastering their first cartwheel or perfecting an aerial, there’s a place for them here.

  • Our preschool classes are designed for little movers ready to explore coordination, balance, and early tumbling shapes through fun obstacle courses and games.
Students learn foundational movements like somersaults, bridges, and handstands while building strength, control, and confidence in a playful environment.

    Requirements:

    • Must be potty trained

    • Able to follow directions and stay with the coach throughout class

  • Perfect for athletes new to tumbling or ready to move up from preschool.
This class focuses on fundamentals like cartwheels, round-offs, backbends, stand-ups, front limbers, and kickovers. Coaches break each skill down step by step, ensuring every athlete feels successful and supported.

    Requirements:

    • A desire to learn new skills and work hard!


  • Our most popular class format, designed for athletes with some experience who are continuing to build and refine skills.
Students progress at their own pace, with skill-based drills and
    individualized coaching that keep every athlete challenged and improving.

    Requirements:

    • Must have basic tumbling skills (cartwheels, round-offs, backbends, handstands)

    • Must be working on or ready to begin kickovers


  • For younger athletes who are ready to take things up a notch.
Coaches focus on connecting skills, improving technique, and building strength for more advanced tumbling passes—all in a fun, supportive environment.

    Requirements:

    • Must have back handsprings and a side aerial


  • For experienced athletes who are ready to perfect advanced skills and combinations.
Athletes work toward elite tumbling progressions such as back tucks, layouts, and advanced passes often seen in cheer or dance.

    Requirements:

    • Must have clean back handsprings and a side aerial
This class builds on power, control, and advanced acro skills.

  • Our Cheer Prep program is a great introduction to the world of cheerleading!

    Students learn cheers, motions, jumps, stunts, and tumbling basics in a fun, high-energy setting that promotes teamwork and confidence.

  • One-on-one sessions focused entirely on your athlete’s goals. Whether working toward a new skill, fixing form, or building confidence, these lessons provide personalized coaching and accelerated results.

P R I C I N G

We keep our pricing simple, transparent, and focused on value. Every class is taught by experienced coaches in small groups (no more than five athletes per instructor) so your child gets quality instruction, faster progress, and a supportive team environment.


Monthly Tuition

  • $62 per month — 1 class per week

  • $114 per month — 2 classes per week

  • $5 monthly sibling discount


Annual Registration

  • $45 per student

  • $55 per family


Payment Details

Tuition is automatically billed on the 1st of each month.
May tuition is collected upfront to secure your athlete’s spot for the full season.

  • Save 10% when you pay for the full season upfront at registration.

  • A $10 late fee applies after the third week of the month if we have to reach out to collect payment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and automatically charged through your preferred payment method.

  • Tumbling is a full-season sport. Collecting May tuition upfront reserves your child’s spot and helps us plan staff and class schedules accurately. It also reduces advertising costs so we can keep tuition lower for everyone.

  • Hundreds of hours go into preparing each new season, including building class schedules, rosters, and lesson plans. The registration fee helps us maintain equipment, update materials, and create the best possible experience for every athlete.

  • Yes! If your athlete needs to miss a class, we offer makeup options when space is available. Contact the front desk or your coach to schedule (a $5 rescheduling fee will apply).

  • We require a 30-day written notice to withdraw so we can update rosters and offer your spot to another athlete.

  • Tuition and registration fees are non-refundable. However, if a class is canceled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, we’ll offer a makeup or account credit.

  • Yes, tuition will be adjusted to reflect the remaining classes.

  • Absolutely! Many athletes take two or more classes per week to build strength and speed up progress.

  • Yes! We offer trial classes for new students so you can see if Defy is the right fit before committing to the full season.

  • Yes! We offer summer tumbling sessions, clinics, and camps designed to help athletes maintain strength and work on new skills. Keep an eye on our announcements and social media for details.

  • Yes, Defy follows most major school holidays. We post our yearly closure schedule before each season so families can plan ahead.

  • Our coaches will help assess the best fit based on age and skill level. Reach out anytime for guidance.

  • Please do not send your child to class if they have a runny nose, a cough due to illness, have thrown up within the past 48 hours, or have had a fever of any kind. These guidelines help us keep everyone healthy and safe. We appreciate your cooperation.
